Remodeling an Attic

Attic is the place in the house which is most neglected but if you are looking for adding an extra room to your house, then it is the perfect place to do so. The attic can be remodeled into different kinds of room. All you need to see that the attic has proper wall, floor and ventilation. If you are unhappy about any of these aspects, you can change it and remodel the attic to your taste. Also check if it needs air conditioning and heating system.
You can turn the attic into an extra bedroom if possible. You just need to decorate it with a bed, side tables, dresser beside the colorful curtains and carpet. Use of potted plants can increase the charm of the bedroom.
Turn the attic into a music room or study if the space is less. A book cabinet and music system placed aesthetically can do the trick.
It can also be converted into a bar by putting bar stools and concealed lights.
If you have small children, then attic can also serve as toy room, play room or serve as kids’ room if bunk bed and kids’ furniture is arranged.
