· Add a headboard if you don’t have one. You could get it made out of inexpensive plywood and then have it painted. Drape it with a pretty scarf, lace or silk.
· Change bedside lampshades, buy a new bedcover and pillow cases, get new curtains, or buy a small floor rug.
· If you need more storage space to display collectible, books and other items, get shelves made out of inexpensive plywood.
