Beautifying the Doors

Doors are the gateways to our home and are also a reflection of the people staying inside the house. As doors get exposed to the outside dirt and climatic variation, regular maintenance can help in beautifying the doors. The regular cleaning of the doors includes:
Use a soft damp cloth to wipe dust from the doors. Using a rag proves to be more effective then cleaning it with duster
Varnished floor doors should be cleaned using oil soap applied on a soft rag. Wipe the doors always in the direction of the wood grains and then clean it off with a soft rag to dry the floor surface.
Use brass cleaner to rub and clean the door knobs and handles. Follow all the manufacturers’ instructions while cleaning these brass fixtures.
If the door panels also contain glasses then use appropriate glass cleaner for removing stains and wipe it with a dry cloth to prevent scratches.
