A home automation system works the same way as a human body does. A human body part cannot function without being connected by bones, nerves and veins. Similarly, the electronic devices we buy for our home like fridge, television, laptop, etc. don’t work without being connected to different types of hubs.
A wiring closet looks as confusing as our small intestine. With abundant wires connected to it, it provides easy access to TV through cable and can also include wires for a generator, etc.
The patch panel is as important as a brain in a human body, since it controls all the functions of the devices through cables. By interchanging the cables, the devices can perform each other’s function.
Connectors work as impeccably as the bones do in a human body. They provide flexibility for the devices through plugs, sockets, etc.
Smart switch panels work as brilliantly as the five senses do in a human body. It can also dim light if you want or increase the volume of the speakers. But for getting a better quality of sound, multiple speakers are connected to a single amplifier called Impedance Matching System. Only with our simple touch, the keypads, touch screens and the remote controls make these hi-tech equipments work.
The Multi-zone Control Systems, the Distribution Panel and the Modulator work in the same way as the arteries and veins do. They accept a feed from any audio and video source respectively and then send it to the required amplifier in any part of the house.
To communicate with others, we have our voice. Similarly, a router enables all printers, modems, computers, etc to communicate with one another. The source of our voice is vocal chords, similarly, Network Interface Cards connect to the router and perform the function together.
